She is a full tenured Professor of Social Work, and a Certified Therapist. Dr. Oliver has been recognized as a Distinguished Citizen of the Idaho Statesman, and honored by the Boise March of Dimes as one of the ten Outstanding Women in Idaho. She has received the Jefferson Award for Outstanding Public Services Benefiting Local Communities by the American Institute for Public Services. Dr. Oliver taught for many years at Boise State University, Rhode Island College, and Northwest Nazarene University. As a result of her late husband’s ministry as Pastor of St. Paul Baptist Church, she was key in getting the St. Paul Baptist Church building onto the Historical Register. This building is now home to the Idaho Black History Museum, shown here at its current location in Julia Davis Park. |

Dr. Mamie O. Oliver was born in Natchez, Mississippi and holds a Ph.D in Education from Washington State University. She is commissioned to Special Ministries to women, families and children, by the American Baptist Churches-USA. She is licensed and ordained by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, Atlanta, GA. |

The Church More than 50 years in the same location, Mountain View Community Fellowship is one of the oldest Baptist congregations in Boise. The church maintains the mission of leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We help people grow spiritually, serve God in a community, and prayerfully be a part of strengthening the local church. Our Fellowship is Holy Spirit led, God’s Word fed, and we teach to reach. |

Located on the campus of Mountain View Community Fellowship church, Mountain View Community Preschool has been in continuous operation, in the same location, for over 30 years. We have served generations of Boise families. We provide a non-denominational, spiritually rich environment for your children ages 3-4 to learn and grow. We ensure that your child is ready for Kindergarten. |

The “Center” is run by the Treasure Valley Council for Church & Social Action. It has been in operation providing Food Bank, and Social Service Screening and Referrals for more than 25 years. |
